The people we support are at the heart of what we do. At South Street, our dedicated team of experienced staff provide person-centred support, which we tailor to the needs of the individuals we support.
South Street is a fully adapted and modified registered care service. The team specialise in supporting clients with moderate learning difficulties. The team is also able to accommodate physical disabilities, including wheelchair users, people who are registered blind and complex medical conditions, including diabetes, epilepsy and mental health diagnoses. The facility also has a modified service vehicle, which is fully wheelchair accessible. Our care plans are uniquely designed to meet the requirements of those we support
Our accommodation at South Street is designed for comfort and spaciousness. It is split over two large floors, with a rear extension accommodating 8 people comfortably. We ensure ample staffing to cater to all residents' needs and monitor care plans to ensure that person-centred goals can be achieved. We also ensure 24 – 7 support on site to cater for all eventualities.
There is a very large rear garden for recreation, including ample seating areas for outdoor events. There is also a shared lounge, dining, and kitchen area for the residents.
South Street is conveniently located within a ten-minute walk of the town centre, with a bus stop just a three-minute walk away. The area boasts ample parking and transport links, with Walsall train station and the central bus station nearby. Our service has easy access to major supermarkets, GP surgeries, and pharmacies, and is surrounded by plenty of local green spaces, including Walsall Arboretum.
