Service users are actively encouraged to exercise choice and to enjoy life to their full potential, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The support is offered in a safe, caring, warm and homely environment in which the service users well-being is of prime importance.

There are 2 houses with 8 rooms in each property, with communal areas including a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, quiet room, large garden and lounge. The services also have a large car park at the front of the house for visitors and families.

The services are conveniently located in Gidea Park, Romford, which is within easy access to shops, bus routes, main line stations and the town centre.

Meet the Manager

I love what I do for a living, I can honestly say that I still wake up every morning looking forward to going to work.

I started my care journey in Youth work with adolescents with complex forensic histories and making a difference to their lives gave me my passion and lit a flame for the work I do today.

Our industry is unique in that we can make a difference and see people change, we can help restore confidence, self-esteem and enable people to begin the journey of believing in themselves.

I enjoy being with people, building relationships and offering hope to the individuals we support, empowering them to achieve their hopes, dreams, and aspirations.

My values underpin all that I do, and I believe that modelling the behaviours to my teams is vital, so that they can witness these values in action: gentleness, courtesy, kindness, an ear to listen and having space for people and then watching the teams replicate them in their own daily support.

“I value each person as a precious human being, and I believe that any community without the people we support is incomplete”

John Begbour - Reigonal Operations Manager
